Boston Bridge is excited to host Dr. Helen Kyomen for our October meeting. Helen H. Kyomen, MD, MS, is a geriatric psychiatrist, clinician-educator, and leader whose work focuses on healthy aging, human connection, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare. She is Medical Director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Program at Boston Medical Center–Brighton, Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, and Chair of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry Committee on Aging. She is also on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kyomen is the lead author of Humane Intelligence in Geropsychiatric Care, which proposes a framework for bringing relational AI and clinical wisdom together with practical ethical safeguards in AI-enabled care. Her current work explores AI literacy, healthy aging, and approaches to ensuring that emerging technologies strengthen—rather than displace—human judgment, agency, connection, and care.
